SDAC Guest Lecture Series: Alicia Izharuddin
For our next SDAC Guest Lecture Series, we welcome Alicia Izharuddin, a lecturer in Gender Studies at Monash University, Malaysia, and an incoming senior visiting fellow in Gender and Sexuality at the National University of Singapore. Her lecture topic is “Compulsory Hijab as Gendered State Violence in Iran: Why the Muted Global Feminist Response?”
The lecture will be held online via zoom on Monday 19th, 6-8 pm (c.t.).
