Our Warm Welcome Again, 6th Cohort SDACers!
During the second week of October, we held orientation week and welcomed our new SDAC students.
Tuesday: Treasure Hunt
5th cohort students gathered together for the first time and went treasure hunting around Erlangen. Some missions included taking funny and/or creative photos.
Wednesday: Orientation Meeting
Students met all the faculty members and were officially introduced to the SDAC program and courses. In addition to a formal introductory information session, the so-called “Muppet Show” of professors and research fellows was given to share with students both personal and academic backgrounds in a more relaxed and casual atmosphere.
Friday: Student Day
The student day, planned and organized by the student representatives, invited students from both new and previous cohorts. We had a chance to talk, joined Pub Quiz together, and got to know each other better.
